(pronounced as "cool") Cuil is an Internet search engine that first launched in July 2008. According to Cuil founders, this search engine searches more pages on the Web than any other search engine, including Google, and rather than using popularity as a search measurement, Cuil searches for and ranks pages based on their content and relevance. The name Cuil is an Irish word meaning knowledge.
